Data Storage and Security
Local Storage
QR code history and preferences are stored locally on your device using Hive database
This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers
Deleting the app will permanently remove all local data
Cloud Storage (Firebase)
Expiring QR codes are stored in Google Firebase Firestore
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication (no personal credentials required)
Data retention: Expired QR codes may be automatically deleted after 30 days

Access and Control
View your QR code history within the app
Delete individual QR codes from your history
Delete all data by uninstalling the app

You can revoke camera and photo library permissions in iOS Settings
Revoking permissions will disable related features (scanning, saving, logo upload)
Data Deletion
Delete local QR history: Open History page > Delete individual items
Delete expiring QR codes: They automatically expire and become inaccessible
Complete data removal: Uninstall the app from your device
Children's Privacy
Links to QR is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us to have it removed.
International Data Transfers
Firebase services may store data on servers located in different countries. By using the app, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules.
