GETTING STARTED

Welcome to QR Feedback Collector! This guide will help you get started and 

answer common questions.


FIRST STEPS:

1. Sign up using Email, Google, or Apple Sign-In (or continue as Guest)

2. Create your first location by tapping the + button

3. Add your business name and description

4. Optionally add custom feedback questions

5. Generate and share your QR code

6. Start collecting feedback!

ACCOUNT & AUTHENTICATION

-------------------------


Q: Can I use the app without creating an account?

A: Yes! You can use "Continue as Guest" for quick access. However, creating 

   an account allows you to sync your data across devices and provides better 

   security.


Q: How do I sign in with Google or Apple?

A: Tap the respective button on the login screen and follow the prompts. 

   Make sure you're signed in to your Google/Apple account on your device.


Q: I forgot my password. What should I do?

A: Tap "Forgot Password" on the login screen. Enter your email address and 

   we'll send you a password reset link.


Q: Can I change my email address?

A: Currently, email changes require contacting support. We're working on 

   adding this feature in a future update.


Q: How do I delete my account?

A: Go to Settings (gear icon) > Account Settings > Delete Account. This will 

   permanently delete all your data. This action cannot be undone.



CREATING LOCATIONS

------------------


Q: How many locations can I create?

A: There is no limit! Create as many locations as you need for your business.


Q: Can I add a logo to my feedback form?

A: Yes! When creating or editing a location, tap "Upload Logo" to add your 

   company branding. The logo will appear on the web feedback form.


Q: Can I edit a location after creating it?

A: Absolutely! Tap on any location from the home screen, then tap the edit 

   icon (pencil) to make changes.


Q: What happens if I delete a location?

A: Deleting a location will also delete all associated feedback. This action 

   cannot be undone, so please be careful.



CUSTOM QUESTIONS

Q: What types of questions can I add?

A: You can add:

   - Rating (1-5 stars)

   - Yes/No questions

   - Short text answers

   - Long text answers (multiline)


Q: Can I make questions optional?

A: Yes! When adding a question, toggle the "Required" switch to make it 

   optional. Required questions must be answered before feedback submission.


Q: How many custom questions can I add?

A: You can add as many as you need, but we recommend 3-7 questions to keep 

   forms short and increase completion rates.


Q: Can I reorder questions after creating them?

A: Currently, questions appear in the order they were added. To change the 

   order, you'll need to delete and recreate them.



QR CODES

Q: How do I share my QR code?

A: From the location detail screen, go to the "QR Code" tab and tap the 

   share button. You can share via any app or save the image to your device.


Q: Can I print the QR code?

A: Yes! Share the QR code to your device, then print it from your Photos app 

   or a printing app. The QR code is high resolution and suitable for printing.


Q: Do QR codes expire?

A: No! Your QR codes are permanent and will continue working as long as the 

   location exists in your account.


Q: What happens when someone scans the QR code?

A: They'll be taken to a mobile-friendly web form where they can submit 

   feedback. No app installation required for them!



FEEDBACK MANAGEMENT

Q: How do I view feedback?

A: Tap on a location, then go to the "Feedback" tab to see all responses.


Q: Can I delete individual feedback entries?

A: Yes! Swipe left on any feedback entry or tap the delete icon.


Q: Is feedback anonymous?

A: Customers can choose to provide their name and email or submit anonymously. 

   You'll see "Anonymous" if they don't provide a name.


Q: Can I reply to feedback?

A: This feature is not currently available but is planned for a future update.



ANALYTICS

Q: What analytics are available?

A: The Analytics tab shows:

   - Total feedback count

   - Average ratings

   - Rating distribution

   - Trends over time

   - Location comparison

   - Custom question insights


Q: Can I filter analytics by date?

A: Yes! Use the filter icon in the Analytics screen to select a date range 

   or specific location.


Q: How do I export my data?

A: From the Analytics screen, tap "Export PDF" or "Export CSV" at the bottom. 

   This will create a report you can share or save.



TROUBLESHOOTING

---------------


Q: The app is crashing or freezing. What should I do?

A: Try these steps:

   1. Close and restart the app

   2. Check for app updates in the App Store

   3. Restart your device

   4. If the problem persists, contact support


Q: QR code not generating or showing error

A: Ensure you have:

   1. A stable internet connection

   2. Entered all required information (name, description)

   3. Given the app necessary permissions


Q: Feedback not appearing after submission

A: Check:

   1. Your internet connection

   2. That you're viewing the correct location

   3. Refresh by pulling down on the feedback list


Q: Google/Apple Sign-In not working

A: Verify:

   1. You're signed in to your Google/Apple account on your device

   2. You've granted necessary permissions

   3. Your device OS is up to date


Q: Can't upload a logo

A: Make sure:

   1. You've granted photo library permissions

   2. The image is in a supported format (JPG, PNG)

   3. Your internet connection is stable



PRIVACY & SECURITY

Q: Is my data secure?

A: Yes! We use industry-standard encryption and secure Firebase backend. All 

   data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in secure data centers.


Q: Who can see my feedback?

A: Only you (the account owner) can see feedback for your locations. We do 

   not share or sell your data.


Q: Can customers see other people's feedback?

A: No. The feedback form only collects data - it doesn't display other 

   responses.


Q: What data do you collect?

A: Please see our Privacy Policy for complete details. In short: account 

   info, location data, and feedback responses.



BILLING & SUBSCRIPTION

Q: Is QR Feedback Collector free?

- iOS 15.0 or later

- Stable WiFi or cellular data

- 50 MB free storage
