QR Code Data
We may collect the following information when you use the app to generate QR codes:
URLs or links you enter to generate QR codes
Expiration dates you set for time-limited QR codes
Logo images you upload for QR code customization
This information is stored locally on your device and, in the case of expiring QR codes, on our Firebase backend.
Camera and Photo Library
When you scan QR codes, we access your device's camera
When you save QR codes or add logos, we access your photo library
We do not collect or store any photos or camera data beyond your explicit actions

Firebase services (if you use expiring QR features)
Anonymous user identifier (Firebase Anonymous Authentication)
Expiring QR link records and metadata stored in Firestore (for example: destination URL, expiry time)
Scan counts for expiring QR codes (when implemented)

QR code history stored in a Hive database on your device

QR code generation, to create QR codes from your provided URLs
Expiring QR codes, to store and validate time-limited QR codes via Firebase
App functionality, to maintain your QR code history locally on your device
Analytics, to understand app usage and improve features using anonymous data only
Technical support, to diagnose and fix technical issues
Data Storage and Security
Local Storage
QR code history and preferences are stored locally on your device using a Hive database
This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers
Deleting the app will permanently remove all local data
Cloud Storage (Firebase)
Expiring QR codes are stored in Google Firebase Firestore
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
Firebase Anonymous Authentication is used, and no personal credentials are required
Expired QR codes may be automatically deleted after 30 days
Security Measures
All network communications use HTTPS encryption
Firebase security rules prevent unauthorized access to QR code data
No passwords or personal credentials are stored
Camera and photo library access requires explicit user permission
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to third parties.
Third-Party Services
We use Google Firebase for backend infrastructure related to expiring QR codes. Firebase may collect anonymous user IDs, QR metadata, and scan counts. The Firebase Privacy Policy is available at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Your device operating system (Android or iOS) manages app permissions such as camera access.

Access and Control
You can view your QR code history within the app
You can delete individual QR codes from your history
You can delete all data by uninstalling the app
Permissions
You may revoke camera and photo library permissions in your device settings
Revoking permissions will disable related features such as scanning, saving, or logo uploads
Data Deletion
Local QR history can be deleted from within the app
Expiring QR codes automatically expire and become inaccessible
Complete data removal can be done by uninstalling the app
Children's Privacy
Links to QR is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can remove it.
International Data Transfers
Firebase services may store data on servers located in different countries. By using the app, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection laws.
Data is primarily stored in the United States using Google Cloud (Firebase, us-central1).
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated by posting the updated policy, updating the "Last Updated" date, and displaying an in-app notification for significant changes.
