PRIVACY POLICY FOR WIFI QR CODE GENERATOR

This privacy policy applies to the WiFi QR Code Generator app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Aivora Lab (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
- The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
- The time spent on the Application
- The operating system you use on your mobile device
- Your device's approximate location for WiFi network detection
WIFI AND LOCATION DATA
The Application requires access to your device's WiFi information and approximate location to detect your current WiFi network details. This data is:
- Only used locally on your device
- Never transmitted to external servers
- Not stored permanently
- Only accessed when you use the "Current Network" feature
- Required for the core functionality of auto-detecting WiFi credentials
AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED INFORMATION
The Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Specifically, the Application uses Google AdMob for displaying advertisements.

ADVERTISING
The Application displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your advertising ID and other information to serve personalized ads. The Service Provider does not control the data collection practices of AdMob.
To opt out of personalized advertising:
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
WiFi Network Information:
- Network names (SSIDs) and passwords you enter are stored locally on your device only
- History of generated QR codes is saved using device local storage
- No WiFi credentials are transmitted to external servers
- All data remains on your device and is never uploaded
QR Code Data:
- Generated QR codes contain standard WiFi connection information
- QR codes saved to your gallery remain on your device
- Shared QR codes are transmitted directly through your chosen sharing method
- The Service Provider does not have access to shared content
The Service Provider values your trust in providing your information, thus we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and the Service Provider cannot guarantee its absolute security.
PERMISSIONS REQUIRED
The Application requires the following permissions:
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE:
- Purpose: To read WiFi network information
- Used for: Detecting current WiFi network details
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE:
- Purpose: To check network connectivity status
- Used for: Determining if device is connected to WiFi
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION:
- Purpose: Required by Android to access WiFi information
- Used for: WiFi network detection only, not for tracking your location
- Note: On Android 13+, NEARBY_WIFI_DEVICES permission is used instead
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE:
- Purpose: To save QR code images
- Used for: Saving generated QR codes to your device gallery
INTERNET:
- Purpose: To display advertisements
- Used for: Loading AdMob advertisements only
THIRD-PARTY ACCESS
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways described in this privacy statement.
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process
- When they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request
- With their trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement
DATA RETENTION POLICY
User-Generated Data:
- WiFi network credentials and history are stored indefinitely on your device
- You can delete individual history entries within the Application
- Clearing app data or uninstalling the Application will remove all stored information
Advertising Data:
- AdMob collects and retains data according to Google's privacy policy
- The Service Provider does not control AdMob's data retention
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, they will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider so that they can take necessary actions.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to:
Access Your Data:
- All your WiFi history is accessible within the Application
- You can view saved QR codes in the History tab
Delete Your Data:
- Delete individual history entries by long-pressing items in the History tab
- Clear all app data through device Settings > Apps > WiFi QR Code Generator > Storage > Clear Data
- Uninstall the Application to remove all data
Opt Out of Personalized Ads:
- Adjust ad personalization settings in your device's Google settings
- Visit Google Ad Settings: https://adssettings.google.com
INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
The Application processes all WiFi credentials locally on your device. Only anonymous analytics and advertising data may be transmitted to Google's servers, which may be located outside your country. By using the Application, you consent to such transfers.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
This privacy policy is effective as of December 5, 2025.
