Q: How do I create my first menu?
A: Tap the "New List" button on the home screen, enter your business details, and start adding items to your menu.
Q: Do I need an internet connection to use the app?
A: No. The app works fully offline. You only need internet when publishing menus to the web or uploading images to the cloud.
Q: Is the app free to use?
A: Yes, the app is free with banner advertisements. All core features are available at no cost.
### Menu Management
Q: How many menus can I create?
A: You can create unlimited menus and add unlimited items to each menu.
Q: How do I add images to my menu items?
A: When creating or editing an item, tap the image placeholder and select a photo from your device's photo library.
Q: Can I organize items by categories?
A: Yes. Create custom categories with icons, then assign items to these categories for better organization.
Q: How do I change the price of an item?
A: Open your menu, tap the item you want to edit, update the price, and save your changes.
Q: Can I mark items as unavailable temporarily?
A: Yes. Toggle the "Available" switch when editing an item. Unavailable items will be dimmed in the menu.
### QR Code Generation
Q: How do I generate a QR code for my menu?
A: Open your menu, tap the QR code icon, then tap "Publish to Firebase" to generate your QR code.
Q: Can I customize my QR code?
A: Yes. You can change the foreground color, background color, and size of the QR code.
Q: How do I share my QR code?
A: After generating the QR code, use the share button to send it via any app, or save it to your device.
Q: Can I print my QR code?
A: Yes. Save the QR code to your device and print it. The default size is suitable for printing.
### Publishing and Web Viewer
Q: What happens when I publish my menu?
A: Your menu is uploaded to Firebase Cloud and becomes accessible via a unique URL and QR code.
Q: Is my published menu public?
A: Yes. Anyone with the QR code or URL can view your published menu. This is intentional so customers can access it.
Q: How do I update my published menu?
A: Make changes to your menu in the app, then publish again. The same URL and QR code will show the updated menu.
Q: Can I unpublish my menu?
A: Yes. Use the delete or unpublish function to remove your menu from the cloud.
Q: What do customers see when they scan my QR code?
A: They see a beautiful web page with your business logo, menu items with images and prices, categories, and contact information.
### Currency and Pricing
Q: How do I change my currency?
A: When creating or editing a menu, select your preferred currency from the dropdown. Over 50 currencies are supported.
Q: Can I use different currencies for different menus?
A: Yes. Each menu can have its own currency setting.
Q: Do I need to add units of measure for all items?
A: No. For food-related menus, unit fields are automatically hidden as they're typically not needed.
### Technical Issues
Q: The app crashes when I try to add an item. What should I do?

Q: My images are not showing up. Why?
A: Ensure you've granted the app permission to access your photo library in your device settings.

A: Check your internet connection. Publishing requires an active internet connection to upload to Firebase.
Q: The QR code won't scan. What can I do?
A: Ensure the QR code is clear and well-lit. Try adjusting the size or contrast colors in the QR code settings.
Q: My menu looks different on the web than in the app. Is this normal?
A: Yes. The web viewer is optimized for customer viewing and may display information differently than the editing interface.
### Account and Data
Q: Do I need to create an account?
A: No. The app works without an account. All your data is stored locally on your device.
Q: How do I backup my menus?
A: Publishing your menus to Firebase automatically backs them up to the cloud.
Q: How do I delete a menu?
A: Swipe left on the menu in the home screen and tap delete, or open the menu and use the delete option.
Q: Can I transfer my menus to another device?
A: Currently, menus are stored locally. To access them on another device, publish your menus first, then you can download them on the new device.
Q: How do I delete my data completely?
A: Uninstall the app to remove local data. For cloud data, use the unpublish/delete functions or contact support.
### Business Information
Q: How do I add my business logo?
A: When creating or editing a menu, tap the logo field and select an image or emoji as your business logo.
Q: Can I add contact information?
A: Yes. Enter your phone number, email, and address in the business details section. This will appear on your published menu.
Q: How do I change my business type?
A: Edit your menu and select a different business type from the dropdown (Restaurant, Cafe, Retail, etc.).
### Analytics
Q: How can I see how many people viewed my menu?
A: Open your menu and tap the analytics icon to view total views, daily statistics, and popular items.
Q: Are the analytics real-time?
A: Analytics update when customers view your published menu. There may be a slight delay in data processing.
Q: Can I see who viewed my menu?
A: No. Analytics are anonymous to protect customer privacy. You can only see view counts and timestamps.
